Wherever I was in China or in Canada, many people have ever helped me a lot and given me a lots of love. I want to say "Thank you" to them.
My parents, of course, I should say "Thank you" to them. Thank them for bring me to this beautiful world. Thanks for giving me so many love. Thanks for giving me a warm family. Thanks for giving me a chance to study abroad. All of my relations and my friends know that my parents love me very much. No matter what I want to get, my parents will try their best to get for me. They never force me to do what I don't like to do. They never force me to study. They never force me to dress some clothes I don't like. They never force me to break up with my boyfriend though they disagreed...I grow into a happy, kind girl because of their love.
Thank you to my brother for loving me all the time. Thanks for sending me to school and bring me back home every week when I studied in China so that I didn't need to take the crowded bus. Thanks for taking care of dad and mum when I am abroad.
Thank you to my grandparents for taking good care of me when I was a child. Thanks for always buying toys and sweets for me. Thanks for giving me unforgetable memories of childhood. I sometimes miss my grandma very much who has already gone away from me.
Thank you to my best friends Jun, Hei and Shan. Thanks for missing me all the time. Thanks for always encouraging me. Thanks for considering me as your best friends.
Thank you to two of my cousin's wives who are considered as my good friends. Thanks for taking me to hospital when I was ill and my mother wasn't at home. Thanks for waiting me at the hospital for injection at midnight because of the allergy. Thanks for helping me to deal with the complicated files for visa. Thanks for bring me back home from the subway station every evening when I studied IELTS in Guangzhou.
Thank you to my ex-bf. Thanks for bearing me always. Thanks for loving me for so many years.
Thank you to the new friends in Canada. Thanks for helping me a lot. Thanks for helping me to adjust the new environment so quick. Thanks for making me feel love in this new country.
I want to say "Thank you" to all of you.

The 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou
This pictures showed the night of Guangzhou on November 12nd, 2010.
Amazing? Beautiful?
That day was the opening ceremony of the 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou, Chian.
This is a big event in Guangzhou this month. It is from November 12nd to November 27th. There are many people gathering at Guangzhou from other provinces in China or other countries during that time. This is the symbol of the Asian Games. The main part of the symbol was designed from the Five Sheep Statues which is the symbol of Guangzhou. It is liked a torch that means the happy desire of Guangzhou's people.
Guangzhou is the second city in China that holding the Asian Games. It spent a lot of money on it and prepared for a very long time. Although Guangzhou is not my hometown I have ever studied in that city for 6 months. I feel very upset that I miss the Games because I am in Toronto now.
My friends in Guangzhou can have a month for holiday during that time because some universities are used by the Asian Games and some university students will be the volunteers. One of my friend who is very good at dancing was the performer on the opening ceremony. How exciting it was! They can enjoy the Games and meet many famous sport players. What a pity for me to miss the Games!
Finally, I hope the Asian Games will have a successful ending.

Teddy Dog --- Nana
There have been a baby in my home since my roommate bought a little teddy dog last Saturday. Her name is Nana. September 12th is her birthday so she is only 2 months old. Nana is very small in size, maybe only 20cm in length. Do you think she is very cute?
Actually, I don't know more about dogs. When I was a child, I was very afraid of dogs because I think they would chase and bite me. So everytime I saw dogs I would hide behide others. My roommate told me that teddy dog is the second clever dog in the world. It is a kind of populare pets.
The first day of Nana came back, she looked very upset and didn't want to come out of the cage. Maybe she wasn't adjust to the new surroundings and felt unhappy to leave from her sister and brother. Nana is a triplet. Although she is so small, I dread touching her. A few days later, I found that she is very lovely. I try to hold her in my arms and play with her. She is the first dog I dare to touch. Because Nana is very young she drink milk every day. She still don't know how to climb the stairs so my roommate usually put her in her house---cage. I usually squat in front of the cage and talk to her. It's amazing that I will talk and play with a dog. I find that I like her very much now although she alway shout in the evening like a baby crying and make me sleep very bad!

Halloween and Ghost Festival
Yesterday was Halloween. This was my first time to celebrate Halloween in a foreign country. I think it is a very interesting festival. People will make pumpkin lanterns and wear special clothes, make-up during that day. The most interesting thing is that kids will knock at someone's door and say "Trick or treat." Then people will give some candies to them.
In Canada, people usually go to wonderland for Halloween. I went there with my friends for Halloween last Saturday night. Many people dressed in strange clothes and wore special make-up so that they were looked like ghosts. If you walked inside and didn't pay attention to them, they would follow you and frighten you suddenly. It was scaring but funny. In addition, there were many haunted houses in wonderland. It was the main activities inside. I came in five haunted houses. The haunted house that gave me the deepest impression was in a forest. It was very realistic. There were some forks inside with fog. It made me feel I were the only person in the forest.
In China, we have a festival which is like Halloween named Ghost Festival. It is from July 14th night to July 15th. The most different thing between Halloween and Ghost Festival is we never celebrate it. We just remember it. Many Chinese people think that day is a terrible day. There are a lot of taboos. Some words we can't say or some thing we can't do that day because it's unlucky. Most people don't like to go out that night, so they just stay at home. Halloween in western countries is a happy festival but Ghost Festival in China is a frightening festival.
